Pride March & Festival
Please note we will START at Festival Plaza in Auburn!!
Join us for the Great Falls Pride Festival & March to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in greater Lewiston Auburn!
The day's festivities will start with a gathering in Festival Plaza in Auburn (112 Main St near Gritty's) at 10:00 am. At 10:30 am, we will march from Auburn to Lewiston via the Longley Bridge then continue down Lincoln Street to Simard Payne Park.
After some brief remarks, you can enjoy the Lewiston Farmers’ Market and the Great Falls Pride Festival in the park. Can’t wait to see you there!
***Please note: Maine can have unpredictable weather! Please come prepared. The march route is step free and about a mile. Feel free to bring signs and rock a great outfit!
Pride Afterparty!
Join us as we keep the celebrations going at the Great Falls Pride Afterparty! This year will be a dance party.
A special thanks to Olive Pit for hosting again. Last year was a blast and we’re excited to continue a tradition of good vibes and great friends!
Don't forget to try some Roadside BBQ in the beer garden.
Board Game Night
Forage Market is hosting us for Board Game Night! They’ll have delicious treats on hand. We will have plenty of games to choose from but feel free to bring your own!
Pride Ride with Queers in Gear!
Join us for another special edition of Queers in Gear for Pride! This ride will be a party-paced (think parade!) group ride along the Androscoggin River. The route will be mostly on bike paths and quiet back roads. Meet at Rainbow Bicycle by 5:50!
Printmaking & Art
Carve your own block and use Ellard Studio’s screens to print your own t-shirt or bandana! They will have bandanas to purchase to print. If you can spare a t-shirt or bandana to donate, that would be amazing!

Stories of Queer Joy & Resilience at the Corner
Join us and L-A It's Happening Queer for a special edition of Lewiston's live storytelling event, The Corner! Our special Pride theme is "How sweet it is: Stories of queer joy and resilience."
This theme talks about love, joy and strength. Tell us about a time when you realized that you weren't alone—a time that you realized you were part of a bigger story. A time when you being you felt truly celebrated, or when acceptance from yourself or others gave you the strength to show up in the world.
As always, take our theme descriptions as a starting point, but don't let them limit you. We invite stories that invert this theme in creative ways and go in unexpected directions.
This event is FREE for anyone to attend and/or speak! Make sure you save room for the event’s dessert potluck!
LGBTQ Wine & Beer Tasting
We look forward to seeing you at The Vault for a very special Pride themed beer & wine tasting! The tasting options will include wine and beer from LGBTQ-owned brands. Come raise a glass to Great Falls Pride with us!
Painting Positivity!
Following the wine and beer tasting at The Vault, join Maine Family Planning at their Lewiston location from 6-7 PM on Friday, June 6 for Painting Positivity!
All supplies will be provided to put queerness, body positivity, and self-love to canvas.
Refreshments will be provided! Registration is required for this event so please fill that out here!
PRIDE PROM DANCE PARTY
Join Great Falls Pride for Pride Prom on Saturday, June 7th for a night of community, fun and celebration!
From 5pm until 10pm (see * below!), dance the night away at 2025 Pride Prom at Callahan Hall in the Lewiston Library. We will have a lineup of DJs including Robby Neighbor, so be dressed to impress and dance!
We will have a photo booth and other fun activities, as well as snacks and beverages. (Please note! This is a dry event but people are welcome to check out the local watering holes like Obscura and Sonder & Dram during the break noted below.)
*All ages from 5pm - 7pm and ages 18+ from 8pm - 10pm.
